Getting Started
Starting Point
The Pirate’s Treasure quest can be started by talking to Redbeard Frank, who is located in Port Sarim. Port Sarim is situated south of Falador and can be easily accessed from various locations throughout the game world.
Initiating the Quest
- Talk to Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim.
- Ask him if he has any quests for you, and he will mention a buried treasure map.
- Redbeard Frank will hand you a piece of the treasure map, marking the starting point for your quest.
Finding the Treasure Map Pieces
The treasure map is divided into three pieces that are scattered across the game world. To assemble the complete map, you’ll need to find all three pieces.
Map Piece 1
- Travel to Draynor Village, located south of Port Sarim.
- Enter the Blue Moon Inn.
- Speak to a man named ‘Wydin’ and ask him about the treasure map.
- He will reveal that he keeps the map piece under a bed in the inn.
Map Piece 2
- Head to the northwest of Port Sarim, near Mudskipper Point.
- Search the crate in a building with a ladder.
- You will find the second map piece in this crate.
Map Piece 3
- Sail to Karamja, an island located to the south of Port Sarim.
- In Karamja, find a small hut north of Brimhaven.
- Search the crate inside the hut to obtain the final map piece.
Assembling the Map
After collecting all three map pieces, you can combine them to form the complete treasure map.
- Use each map piece on one another in your inventory to create the complete map.
Unearthing the Treasure
Now that you have the complete treasure map, it’s time to dig for the treasure.
- Return to Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim.
- Show him the complete treasure map.
- Redbeard Frank will give you a spade to dig for the treasure.
Buried Treasure Location
The location of the buried treasure is marked by an ‘X’ on the map. It’s on the beach just southeast of Port Sarim, near the jail. Dig at the marked spot to uncover the treasure.
Quest Completion
Once you’ve dug up the treasure, your quest is complete! Enjoy your reward, which includes a cash reward and some experience points.
