Gargoyles are a monster unlocked at level 75 slayer in Oldschool Runescape. They can be killed both on and off-task, but require a rock hammer, rock thrownhammer or granite hammer to kill them when below 9 hitpoints. They are a relatively profitable slayer monster, known for their alchable droptable, so it is highly advised to bring high level alchemy runes when completing this task.
Additionally, those who have received a Gargoyle slayer task may wish to take on a more challenging opponent such as the Grotesque Guardians. Also known as the Gargoyle boss, they can only be fought on a Gargoyle slayer task. You can read our Grotesque Guardian guide here.
