OSRS Ernest the Chicken Guide

Ernest the Chicken is a short, free to play quest in oldschool runescape. During the quest players go in search of the missing Ernest, searching around Draynor Maynor.

Guide to complete Ernest the Chicken

Talk to Veronica to begin your quest outside the Draynor Manor. Enter the Manor and pick up the poison in the room south of the kitchen. Next, go to the 1st floor and pick the fish food up from the room south of the stairs with the ghost. Create poisoned fish food by using the poison on the fish food.

Return to the west side of the ground floor and search the bookcase then climb down the ladder. You will now be in the basement and need to complete a puzzle by pulling a combination of different levers. Follow the steps below using the diagram for help:

1. Pull lever A and B down.
2. Go through door 1.
3. Pull lever D down.
4. Return back through door 1.
5. Pull levers A and B up.
6. Go through doors 3, 4 and 5.
7. Pull levers E and F down.
8. Go through doors 6 and 7.
9. Pull lever C down.
10. Go through doors 7 & 6.
11. Pull lever E up.
12. Enter through doors 6, 8, 3, 9 and pick up the oil can.

Return to the ladder and climb up it with the oil can in your inventory. Pull the lever again and go to the far eastern room to pick up the spade. Exit the door in the same room and go north to the compost heap on the west side of the manor.

Search the compost heap to find a key, then go south and use your poisoned fish food on the fountain. Search the fountain and find a pressure gauge, return with this to the Manor. Enter the room north of the stairs on the ground floor of the Manor. This room contains an aggressive skeleton and a rubber tube. Take the tube and leave the room to climb up 2 sets of stairs to the top floor of the Manor. Talk to Professor Oddenstein to complete the quest.

After full completion of this quest you will receive 4 quest points and 300 coins. Additionally, members will gain access to the Killerwatt Plane.
