Filling vials with water can be a necessary evil for many Ironman players. If you’re a normal account then you’ll just want to buy the vials from the grand exchange. But, if you’re an ironman then you’ll want to be close to a bank when doing this. Unless you are able to buy the stores from NPC stores.
Where are the Best Places to Fill Vials?
- Hosidius Kitchen
- Lumbridge Castle Cellar
- Humidify Spell (anywhere)
- Buy from a store
Hosidius Kitchen
The Hosidius Kitchen can be found directly south of the Great Kourend Castle. It can be accessed easily with an Xeric’s Talisman teleport to the castle and running south or teleport to the Glade and run north-west.
In the kitchen you will find a bank adjacent to a sink, here you can fill your water vials easily.
Lumbridge Castle Cellar
The Cellar in the Lumbridge Castle provides access to a bank and kitchen. The bank is only a few tiles away from a sink, making it quick and easy to fill your vials with water.
Additionally, this area benefits from not having any requirements. So its great for very low level ironmen looking to get some vials for their first potions.
Humidify Spell
The Humidify spell is a brilliant alternative method to filling water vials in OSRS. It allows you to do it from anywhere in the map. So, you can stand right at a bank and humidify the vials, meaning there is 0 downtime running back and forth between banks.
You will however, need to gather or buy the runes required for casting the humidify spell. Some tips include using a rune pouch so you can humidify more vials per invent. Additionally, use items that provide runes such as fire, water or steam battle staffs.
Buying from a Store
Players can visit various stores around OSRS to purchase vials of water. There is also water-filled vial packs, these provide 100 vials of water and can be bought for between 80 and 140 gold, depending on the store.
